Pardi Market Plaza

Foothill Associates prepared a master plan and construction documents for the City of Dixon to transition a 0.7-acre vacant lot in the downtown core to a central plaza. Due to strong feelings within the community and City Council about the facilities to be included within the site, significant public outreach was a major part of the design development. Based on the public input provided, and two conceptual designs previously developed, Foothill Associates developed two additional conceptual plans. All four conceptual plans were presented in a public workshop with the ad hoc committee and were refined into a single master plan. The final design includes a bandstand, entrance archway, clock tower, picnic area, seat walls, community mosaic wall, vibrant nighttime lighting, permeable paving, bioswale, and two solar covered parking and pergola structures. Foothill Associates prepared a cost estimate, phasing plan, and provided grant application support. Foothill Associates completed construction documents, specifications, and CEQA environmental documentation.
