Lake Natoma Interpretive Signs

Folsom, California

Foothill Associates worked closely with State Parks Gold Fields District staff to develop a series of kiosk and trail interpretive signs. The foundation of the project was the synergy of artistic and scientific abilities with the Parks District’s cultural and natural history resources to produce creative and informative signage geared to provide educational aid and aesthetically enhance the Lake Natoma State Park trails. The signs were designed per ADA standards for both trail and kiosk type installations and used photographs, original illustrations, map topography, and regional and historical information pertaining to cultural and natural resources.
