Foothill Associates' Conservation Planning professionals have considerable experience with large and small Habitat Conservation Plans (HCPs) and Land Management Plans (LMPs) throughout California and Nevada.

Foothill Associates’ staff has experience in developing large-scale, regional HCPs covering multiple projects over large areas, as well as developing smaller, single-project HCPs. The development of a regional HCP involves integrating species and habitat conservation into a land use planning framework that addresses multiple land uses and interests, including urban development, agriculture, recreation, water quality control, and flood control.
