Chico Stormwater Management Program

Chico, California

Foothill Associates assisted the City of Chico with nine Low Impact Development (LID) and water conservation projects that included converting turf to drought-tolerant plantings, converting above-ground spray to subsurface drip irrigation systems, creating rain gardens, installing a 2800 gallon rainwater storage tank, and retrofitting parking lots with permeable paving and infiltration galleries.  The project is funded by a Proposition 84 Stormwater Grant.  We performed site assessments and opportunities and constraints analyses on each site and then developed construction documents based upon original concept sketches included in the grant.
