Foothill Associates obtained environmental and regulatory permits to assist in the first phase of the One-Mile Dam Replacement project in Bidwell Park in Chico, California. The project involved replacing Sycamore Pool flashboard dam structure in the One-Mile Recreation area with a new pneumatically operated spillway gate system. The new gate system will maintain a constant upstream water level to help restore fish habitat in passage in Big Chico Creek.
