Foothill Associates is a veteran-owned California corporation with Small Business Enterprise Certification (SBE#0020864) that provides a wide range of environmental consulting, landscape architecture, and planning services. The company was founded in 1995 by Kenneth D. Whitney, PhD, President and Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS#1004).

The company currently employs more than 30 professionals working in our four Office Locations in California and Nevada. The interdisciplinary Foothill Associates staff comprises regulatory specialists, biologists, botanists, wetland scientists, planners, landscape architects, certified arborists, water resources specialists, hydrologists, GIS specialists, and graphic designers.

Our variety of skills and Services allows us to combine ideas and research findings from different disciplines that enhance our understanding of the interactions between the natural environment and human institutions.
